Franz Hörmann

Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Franz Hörmann (geboren 1960) ist seit 1983 am Institut für Revisions-, Treuhand- und Rechnungswesen der Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien beschäftigt, 2001-2010 Gastprofessor am Institut für Wirtschaftsinformatik (Communications Engineering) der Universität Linz, seit 1997 gewerblich befugter Unternehmensberater, von 1995-2015 korrespondierendes Mitglied des Fachsenats für Datenverarbeitung der österreichischen Kammer der Wirtschaftstreuhänder und von 2001-2015 Prüfungskommissär im Rahmen der Wirtschaftsprüfer-Ausbildung der österreichischen Kammer der Wirtschaftstreuhänder. Von 2001-2010 Lektor an der FHW (Fachhochschule der Wirtschaftskammer Wien).

Forschungsschwerpunkte:

Rechnungsweseninformationssysteme, Expertensysteme im Rechnungswesen, Kommunikationstheorie und Kapitalmarkt.

Trat mit dem Werk „Das Ende des Geldes“

(http://www.franzhoermann.com/uploads/2/0/1/9/20192907/20110810-das_ende_des_geldes.pdf) im Jahr 2011 erstmals als Kritiker des verzinsten Schuldgeldes in die Öffentlichkeit und entwickelte die neue Geldform „Informationsgeld“ (http://www.informationsgeld.info) und bringt sie mit der OSBEEE eG (http://osbeee.com) als OSBEEE:Money auf den Markt.

Mitbegründer des „Interdisciplinary Research Institute for Systemic Sciences“ (IRISS):

Er spricht den sog. Normativen Wissenschaften (die “Wissenschaften des Sollens”, v.a. Ökonomie, Recht, Pädagogik) den Status einer Wissenschaft ab (weil jedem “Sollen” ein “Wollen” vorausgeht und durch diese Pseudowissenschaften gesellschaftliche Machtverhältnisse verdeckt werden) und setzt ihnen die Systemische Gesellschaftswissenschaft, welche basierend auf Psychologie und Technologie Gesellschaften als rückgekoppelte Kommunikationssysteme interpretiert, entgegen.

Franz Hörmann ist verheiratet und Vater zweier Kinder (Sohn 17 Jahre, Tochter 20 Jahre alt).

FRANZ HÖRMANN

(born 1960) Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Since 1983 member of the department of Accounting, Auditing and Finance at University of Economics and Business Vienna, 2001-2010 visiting professor at the department of Communications Engineering at the University Linz, since 1997 professional business consultant, from 1995-2015 corresponding member of the council of Information Technology of the Austrian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and from 2001-2015 member of the examination committee to assess the Certified Public Accountants in Austria, from 2001-2010 lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences of the Chamber of Commerce in Vienna.

Main fields of research: Accounting Information Systems, Expert Systems in Accounting, Communication Theory and Capital Markets.

Received public attention by wtiting the book “Das Ende des Geldes” (The End of Money, http://www.franzhoermann.com/uploads/2/0/1/9/20192907/20110810-das_ende_des_geldes.pdf) in 2011 when for the first time he publicly criticised the compounded, debt based money system. He invented the new money category called “Information Money” („Informationsgeld“ http://www.informationsgeld.info) and will make it publicly available together with OSBEEE eG (http://osbeee.com) as OSBEEE:Money.

The so called normative sciences (the “Sciences of the Ought-To instead of Is” , particularly  Economics, Law, Pedagogy) are no “Legitimate Science”, because each “Ought-To” is preceded logically by a “Want-To” and by creating those pseudo-sciences certain social relations of power are hidden and camouflaged as “Law of Nature”. He believes that a new science (Systemic Social Sciences) founded on Psychology and Technology, will be more successful in describing society as a communication process containing feed back loops and emergent phenomena.

Franz Hörmann is married and father of two children (son 17 years, daughter 20 years old).
