Chaos und die (verborgene) Ordnung des Finanzsystems (Franz Hörmann)

Ausgehend von „Hume’s Gesetz“ (der Spaltung zwischen Sein und Sollen) wird der Vortrag die wissenschaftliche Natur der sogenannten normativen Wissenschaften, insbesondere von Ökonomie und Recht, hinterfragen. In vielen Fällen stellt sich Chaos nur als die subjektive Interpretation einer noch unbekannten Ordnung dar. Wenn wir den Hauptzweck unseres Finanzsystems hinterfragen und seine primären Funktionen erkennen, so wird es möglich, seine verborgenen Prämissen und Axiome aufzudecken. Zu diesem Zweck wird das Finanzsystem als Teil von Ökonomie und Recht beschrieben (eine konkrete Umsetzung davon) und Ökonomie und Recht selbst als Anwendungsfall menschlicher Kommunikationssysteme. Menschliche Kommunikation bildet somit die übergeordnete Wissenschaft und Ökonomie und Recht stellen bloße Anwendungen dar. Die menschliche Kommunikation wurde in der Vergangenheit von religiösen und ethnischen Ritualen geprägt, die verhaltenstechnisch kopiert und internalisiert aber kaum hinterfragt und verstanden wurden. Wenn wir aber einen neuen, nicht normativen, Blick auf die Gesellschaft wagen und dazu eine Systemische Gesellschaftswissenschaft errichten (die Ökonomie und Recht vereint und ersetzt), so werden die meisten unserer aktuell wahrgenommenen Probleme einfach verschwinden. Im Vortrag werden einige Beispiele für diesen „mathe-magischen“ Trick (etwas aus nichts zu erschaffen und wieder verschwinden zu lassen) präsentiert und erklärt werden.
Chaos and the (hidden) Order of Financial Systems

Starting with Hume’s Law (the is-ought problem) this presentation will question the scientific nature of the so called Normative Sciences, particularly Economics and Law. In many cases chaos is just the subjective interpretation of a yet unknown order. If we question the main purpose of our financial system and identify its prime functions then it is possible to uncover the hidden premises and axioms. To this end the financial system will be described as part of Economics and Law (as an application of it) and Economics and Law both as a special application of human communication systems. Human communication is therefore the main science of which Economics and Law are just an application. Human communication used to be dominated by religious and ethnical rites that were habitually copied and internalised and hardly ever questioned or understood. If we dare to look at society from a new, not normative, perspective using a Systemic Social Science (replacing and integrating Economics and Law) most of the currently perceived problems will simply disappear. Examples for this „mathe-magical act“ (creating something out of nothing – and back again) will be given in the lecture.
